Schoolwide positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) is a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) framework designed to systematically teach, model, and reinforce appropriate social behaviors (Boden et al., 2018). This TIP will provide examples of ways teachers and PBIS teams can plan for accessible PBIS instruction that includes students with significant cognitive disabilities.
